Through gentle activity signals. Our dedicated mobile app quietly checks in for you — no daily effort needed — and using the website counts too. If your signals stop for a long time, a careful, multi-step safety process begins: we try to reach you repeatedly over several weeks, your Guardian Angel is asked to confirm, and even then urgent alerts reach you one last time. Delivery only happens after every step has passed.
Nothing happens because of a short quiet period — the safety process takes weeks by design, and any activity, even a single sign-in, resets it instantly. Planning to be off the grid? Turn on Travel Mode: monitoring pauses for the period you choose, then resumes automatically — no need to remember to switch it back on. And if something did happen while you were away, the safety process would still start on its own afterwards.
Your letters are stored encrypted. They become readable for exactly two people: you, in your own vault — and the person you wrote them for, at delivery. Even your Guardian Angel never sees your content — they are only asked to confirm how you are doing.
No. When the time comes, your words simply arrive by email — as messages with your files included, or as a private, secure link, depending on how you set each delivery up. Either way, your recipients need no account, no app, and never pay anything.
No — and that's intentional. myAngelVault focuses on one thing: making sure your words reach your loved ones when you can no longer deliver them yourself. Delivery is guided by the safety process, not by a calendar.
Nothing dramatic. We retry, remind you several times, and give you a generous grace period during which everything keeps working. Only after that does your vault switch to read-only — everything stays safely stored, nothing is deleted without plenty of warning, and nothing is ever delivered because of a billing issue.
